Who Should Use Which Public Restrooms
That our Federal Government involves itself in such an issue simply illustrates how out of touch our national leadership is. At a time when our country is tens of trillions of dollars in debt, and when terrorist organizations are butchering innocents around the globe and threatening our homeland, the absolute last issue they should be concerning themselves with is restroom use.
If restroom policy is going to be an issue, it should be left to the states to decide, along with education, energy, health insurance reform, and most environmental issues.
We need to look no farther than the ninth and tenth amendments to understand that there are some realms that are better left to the states to decide.
